AStA – You hear and see this abbreviation from time to time. But what exactly is it all about? Student representation consists of two central bodies: the Student Council (StuRa) and the General Students’ Committee (AStA). The StuRa is elected annually by all students via their respective faculty. The StuRa is comparable to a parliament. It also needs an executive body – the StuRa elects the AStA for this purpose. This is comparable to the government; the individual AStA departments – e.g. Finance, Management, Mental Health, etc. – are the individual ministers. – are the individual ministers.

In particular, our task is to solve your problems, provide you with assistance with your exams and study regulations and help you with your lecturers. We want to make your everyday study life easier and better. We also plan many events ourselves and provide support for events that you have planned, e.g. in the student council or with other students.
