FAQs about the changeover of the copy cards/multifunction devices

What is changing?

Our university has multifunction devices for printing, copying, and scanning at many locations. Students can use these with a copy card.

A new contract for the devices will come into effect at the start of the winter semester. Both the devices and the software will therefore be gradually replaced by December 31, 2025. As the new software is not compatible with the previous system, all existing credit on the copy cards must be used up completely.


What do I need to keep in mind?

If you use the multifunction devices, you should …

· spend any existing credit on your copy card by December 31, 2025 at the latest, and

· for the time being, only top up with new credit that you can use up by December 31, 2025.

Existing credit cannot be paid out and will expire after December 31, 2025.


How will the conversion of the devices proceed?

All multifunction devices will be gradually converted to the new system. Information on the exact process will be published here as soon as possible.
