Anti-discrimination and diversity unit

The AStA anti-discrimination and diversity officers are the first point of contact for all students affected by discrimination. The advisors offer initial and referral advice for those affected and provide them with assistance in dealing with discrimination. Each case is treated individually and confidentially.

In addition to counseling, the department provides a range of information materials and takes preventative measures to prevent discrimination in the university environment. For example, by participating in university policy committees, it works to set up instruments that help (potentially) discriminated students and make the university more non-discriminatory.

In addition, regular prevention events are offered, such as information lectures, workshops, cooperation with cultural organizations and others. The aim is to inform and educate about discrimination, as well as to empower and network those affected and interested.
